Innu Northern Shield Development
The limited partnership between IDLP and Northern Shield Development was registered in 2018. The goal of this project was to provide accommodations that were more suitable for living and working in northern regions. Work to date has largely involved construction of multi residential, motel, hotel, and workforce accommodations. As part of our continued efforts to remain environmentally conscious, solar power has been a key focus in these projects. Also, due to the unique way of life in northern communities such as Natuashish, INSD has placed a focus on prefabrication, which has aided in the transportation of materials and expediency of construction.
