Ueushuk Fisheries Limited
Ueushuk Fisheries Limited is established by IDLP to manage IDLP’s commercial Innu fishery and is 100% owned by IDLP. UFL has been successful in acquiring fishing enterprises, which are now under their management. UFL also manages the northern shrimp allocation on behalf of the Innu. UFL has acquired the 100’ fishing vessel Atlantic Optimist. The Atlantic Optimist is involved with the harvest of turbot in fishing area 0B which is north of Cape Chidley, a headland located at the northeastern tip of the Labrador Peninsula.
