Project: Voisey’s Bay
Location: East coast of Labrador (approximately 350 km North of Goose Bay and 35 km Southwest of Nain).
Rotation: 2 weeks in 2 weeks out
Shift Length: 12 hours
Travel: Provided from airport closest to point of hire
Accommodation: Remote site – camp setting

Scope of work:
Innu Inuit Redpath Limited Partnership (IIR) will be the primary contractor on an underground mine project located on the east coast of Labrador, approximately 350 km north of Goose Bay. Future mining from the two separate underground deposits will extend the life of this operation for at least another decade. Both deposits contain Nickel and Copper and at peak production, 2.54 million tons will be mined annually. The work consists of building/ installing mine infrastructure such as high pressure doors, regulator walls, wash bays, maintenance bays, fuel bay, etc.

General Help – Full Time

Labrador Catering is seeking Full-Time General Help for the Voisey’s Bay Mine Site.

The General Help position supports the day-to-day operations of the site by helping maintain assigned areas to the required standards. Successful applicants may be placed in a variety of roles, including housekeeping, janitorial, laundry, kitchen helper, or dish pit.

Position: Full-Time – General Help
Reports To: Senior Lead Hand/Manager
