Who We Are

IDLP was created and registered as a Limited Partnership under the Newfoundland and Limited Partnership Act on March 2nd, 1999.

IDLP is comprised of council members and chiefs from each of the constituent Innu communities, Sheshatshiu and Natuashish.

In 1997 the Sheshatshiu Innu Band Council Inc. and the Mushuau Innu entered into a MOU with the main objectives of ensuring the economic involvement of the Innu People, minimizing conflict with Innu Traditions, and increasing the number of trained and employed Innu Persons.
